Well, things are moving along quite nicely in preparation for Warrnambool & District Easter Arts Festival to be held in 2021!
Since our last newsletter we are excited to report that there have been quite a few enquiries from people and organizations interested in hosting new events which we will be announcing in the upcoming weeks. We have also had dates confirmed for some of the events. Please see below. We are really excited with how the 2021 festival is developing and the interest it is generating in our community. With many months still to go and more events still in the pipeline, it’s sure to be the most creative, entertaining and informative Easter Arts Festival yet. Some more great news is that Warrnambool City Council and the Moyne Shire Council have both pledged significant funding for the 2021 festival.
Since the Easter Arts Festival is all about community involvement and reaching out, we would love to hear if there are any ideas or events that you would like to see included in our program. If you are aware of any local acts, artists or musicians that would complement our Festival theme, make sure to let us know. You can contact us by calling

Ragman & Luke's stories of hope is dramatically told by story teller Philip Liebelt. The event was originally for the Warrnambool & District Easter Arts Festival but because of the social distancing rule's brought about by the covid 19 virus. We decided to make a video and put it online for people to view.
Below are the winners of the painting competition at WADAS, the well known painter David Voigt came first followed by Shirley Lindsay and Judy Rauert. The competition was ably judged by Neil Benfell. If social distancing restrictions lift earlier it may be possible to view that wonderful Easter exhibition until late in June.
1st place David Voigt
2nd place Shirley Lindsay
3rd place Judy Rauert
