Warrnambool & District Easter Arts Festival

The Easter Arts Festival is designed to be an inclusive and celebratory series of arts events including sculpture, painting, literature, music, singing, performance, dance, photographic-art, film and all forms of textile art. Festival events are held at various venues during March and April. 

2024 Festival Update 

Plans are well underway for the 2024 Festival. 17 events have been planned with some dates and venues still to be confirmed.
A special Festival Launch event will be held on Friday 15 March. Please note that the Art Exhibition at WDAS in Coramba Court will be open from Saturday 9 March and on Sunday 10 March its official opening takes place at 2pm where prizewinners will be announced. A Blokes’ Brekky is planned for Saturday 23 March at Naringal Baptist Church. Guest speaker is Brett Davis from Christian Surfers. A Hymn Singalong will take place on Wednesday 27 March at the Salvation Army complex on Mortlake Road. The annual Way of the Cross Walk will again be held on Good Friday as will the Dawn Service on Easter Sunday. A new event is scheduled for Easter Saturday (30 March) at Lake Pertobe. This will incorporate a Festival Family Fun Day from 10am to 4pm. Activities include a Children’s activity area, a refreshment tent for adults and children, songs from local musicians and performances from the Warrnambool City Band and the Lakes & Craters band from Camperdown. There is a special Children’s Event planned for the Baptist Church on Wednesday 3 April. A Ladies” High Tea will be held at Hammond Place on Saturday 6 April. Entertainer Sean W Smith will be featured in two sessions on Friday 5 April (venues to be confirmed). He will participate in the morning service at Gateway Church of Christ on Sunday 7 April. Naringal craft activities take place on 9, 10 and 11 April. The Warrnambool Uniting Church hosts Songs of Peace on the morning of Sunday 14 April.
