Warrnambool & District Easter Arts Festival

An encompassing community Arts Festival celebrating the traditional Easter theme.

Warrnambool & District Easter Arts Festival

The Easter Arts Festival is designed to be an inclusive and celebratory series of arts events including sculpture, painting, literature, music, singing, performance, dance, photographic-art, film and all forms of textile art. Festival events are held at various venues during March and April.

2023 Festival Update

The Warrnambool and District Easter Arts Festival Inc. is designed to be an inclusive and celebratory series of events with the theme “Reflections of Easter”.  We are thrilled and excited to present a diverse, educational and informative series of events this year.
Once again, we are partnering with the Warrnambool and District Artists Society for an art competition and exhibition in many different techniques. First prize is $2500.00 and there are 8 further prizes of $250.00 each.
We are having our first concert at St. Brigid’s in Crossley this year featuring a “Family Concert”.  There are 5 different local acts for your enjoyment and the evening will commence with dinner for you to enjoy.
The festival has a very diverse range of events including workshops, concerts, puppetry, youth events, community singing and talks all for your encouragement and enjoyment.
We are extremely grateful for the support of the Moyne Shire, Warrnambool City Council (especially their events team), local churches, community groups and organizations as well as several philanthropic trusts. Without all this support, the festival could not operate.

As you reflect on our theme “Reflections of Easter” may the 2023 Easter Arts Festival celebration, in its many forms, bring you to a new understanding and appreciation of Easter.

Blessings,John StephenFestival Director.

I AM LIVING MY DREAM! “Music is the greatest communication in the world. Even if people don't understand the language that you're singing in, they still know good music when they hear it.” A quote from Lou Rawls, I believe, one of the legendary singers of all time, who sums up the way I feel about singing, performing and making music.
